Injection volume=1/4*3.14*D2*S*0.85 ( D: screw diameter, S: injection stroke, 0.85: residual plastic)
Metering section: to ensure that all plastics are melted, the temperature is uniform, and the mixing is uniform
Compression section: responsible for plastic mixing, compression and pressurized exhaust, almost all the raw materials passing through this section are melted, but not necessarily uniformly mixed
Feeding section: responsible for plastic transportation, pushing and preheating
Length-diameter ratio: the ratio of the total length L of the thread to the diameter D of the screw
Compression ratio: the ratio of the thread depth of the feeding section to the thread depth of the metering section
Feeding groove depth, measuring groove depth:
The deeper the depth of the feeding screw groove, the greater the conveying volume, and the strength of the screw needs to be considered
The shallower the depth of the metering section, the higher the plasticizing heat and the mixing performance index, but if the depth is too shallow, the shear heat will increase, and the plastic will change color or burn.
